Allows you to analyze budgets and workload of multiple projects that share resources and dependencies. Can run on multiple platforms. Using WBS, you are able to see how efficiently your projects and resources are running and being utilized. |

Cons
|
Scheduling is somewhat lacking. |

Conclusion

A great MS project alternative that truly allows the typical project manager the ability to work on multiple projects. The software also allows for “what if” scenarios. Rather inexpensive solution for only $98. |
Another MS Project clone that deserves a look

Comes in 3 versions - single project version, multi-project and a server version. Step-by-step project guide is one great feature that helps through project management process. Also, the segregation of functions into the three heads (as shown in the left menu) i.e. project details, planning and controlling is really useful too. Other nice features include cash-flow screen at tasks/resources level, function short cuts, WBS view, Gantt Chart, what-if scenarios and compatibility with linux/Mac/Win |

Cons

It looks a bit expensive for the features it offers. The user documentation, though present, could be improved a bit more. |

Just like many others, this too is a clone of MS project with few features missing and few added but retaining more or less same look & feel. So, for people looking to move to a MS project clone at a lesser price…this might be an option (but there are other options available too). With multi-platform (linux/MS/Mac), multi-project support and a bit of de-cluttering...it does warrant a good look. |
