Review Criterias

Pros	It's free (open source), well organized and addresses the needs of all business functions i.e. HRM, CRM, financial management, approval workflows and more. Of course, it does provide the regular project management features too and GUI is intuitively simple as well. Collaboration and reporting functions are also sufficiently good. So, even with so many functions, there is no cluttering and it looks really clean.
Cons	In trying to make it an ERP solution, some advanced project management functions have been compromised on. Also, for someone who is looking for a pure project management solution, project-open might seem a little confusing.
Conclusion	Project-open is really a project management + business management software that seems to cater to the typical requirements of a small to medium size organization… and it does it beautifully. It comprises clean/ intuitive interface, all the required project management features, CRM support, HRM support, financial management, workflows and more. SaaS options and customizations are available for a fee. In short, it has everything that you need for your business (not just task management) ...all bundled into a nice little package that you will find really useful.
